WinPocketPC added to WinResponse

New plug-in designed for mobile devices allows in-the-field handling of requests without requiring a wireless infrastructure.  PocketPC users can synchronize with the WinResponse server whenever connected to their cradle.  Requests to which they are assigned are pulled down to the device, while new and edited requests are copied back to the server.  Once resolved or assigned away to someone else the requests are deleted from the handheld’s memory.

The City of San Leandro became the first city to deploy WinPocketPC this fall.  They will pilot the plug-in the Police Department’s code compliance division before rolling it out citywide.
