WinGov Chosen to develop GIS-based Business Development Tool

The City of San Leandro, Calif., a WinResponse customer, has selected WinGov to develop Info San Leandro, its GIS-based Business and Economic Development query tool for web users.  Info San Leandro will allow business citizens who are contemplating a move within San Leandro, as well as prospective businesses considering a move into the city.
Info San Leandro will be designed with the following goals in mind:

1. Winresources will design Info San Leandro to be integrated functionally into Access San Leandro or to be accessed directly from the home (or any other) page of the City website.

2. The integration into WinResponse will allow access to other business functions from the Business Development area of the website.

3. Info San Leandro will be designed to support the mapping and querying needs of other departments while focusing on the immediate needs of the Business Development Department.

4. At the same time, Info San Leandro will be designed from a business citizen's point of view.  Using the Request Type logic built into WinResponse, users will be able to view pre-defined sets of map layers based on the intent of their inquiry.

5. Info San Leandro will be designed to leverage, as well as augment, ESRI's powerful ArcGIS suite's mapping, spatial querying, and reporting capabilities.

6. All of the specific functionality requested by the RFP and addressed below will be as tightly integrated with each other and easy to navigate as possible
